What is Evo Navigator?
Evo Navigator is a unified search and wayfinding tool built into the Rio Evo interface. It provides a single point of access for finding patients, records, tasks, and system functions, regardless of which module or area of the system holds the relevant information.
Navigator replaces the need to know which menu or module to navigate to in order to find specific content. Users can search, browse, and launch common tasks from a single, consistent interface.
Navigator capabilities
Patient search: find any patient record across all clinical areas from a single search input, with results filtered and ranked by relevance to the logged in user's caseload and service area
Task and workflow access: surface outstanding tasks, unactioned referrals, due assessments, and upcoming appointments in a single consolidated view
Quick launch: access frequently used functions, reports, and system areas directly from Navigator without navigating through the menu structure
Keyboard navigation: Navigator supports keyboard shortcuts and natural language input, reducing mouse dependent navigation for experienced users
Persona based features displayed, all adhering to Role Based Access credentials
Contextual suggestions: Navigator surfaces relevant records and actions based on the user's role, current context, and recent activity
Training and adoption
Evo Navigator is designed to be intuitive and does not require significant training investment. The existing menu structure remains available in Rio Evo, so users who prefer the traditional navigation approach can continue to use it. Navigator adoption typically increases naturally as users discover its value in day-to-day work.
